Chilawee staff applicants must be at least 15 years of age by December 31, 2020.
What to Expect
Chilawee Trails welcomes 56 campers per week, in two week-long sessions. The campground has 4 barracks with space for two cabins per barrack.
Each cabin has 7 campers, one counselor and one CIT. Other staff departments include: kitchen, nurse, dance, sports, canoe, waterfront, groundskeeping, and crafts. These are volunteer positions (33 hrs/week) with an honorarium of $125 offered to kitchen staff and heads of departments. Bed and board is provided.

LEAP Training Course
LEAP is a yearly training course for Chilawee staff. The purpose of this course is to provide new Chilawee staff with a common base of knowledge, build team camaraderie and ensure returning staff members
It usually runs in Toronto, London, Ottawa and Montreal. It is required for any staff applicants. Returning staff can take the LEAP refresher course.
