Our oldest campers (13.5-14) are leaders-in-training (LITs) and take part in a special program of activities during camp.
LITs participate in leadership activities and team-building games. The LITs also go to Algonquin Park for a full day of hiking and swimming. During the week, with the help of their counselors, the LITs plan Olympic Day (link), the final day of camp. They develop a theme, a schedule and a points system and work together to prepare each station of activities.
The purpose of the LIT program is to give these oldest campers an idea of the staff experience. Many of our staff are former campers.
