Applications will be accepted until June 9th, 2026. Please note that all applicants are expected to have completed the <a href=\"https:\/\/chilaweetrails.ca\/?page_id=149\">LEAP training<\/a> and pass an interview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/form.jotform.com\/260095515813254\">Staff application form<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-highlight-text has-large-font-size\"><strong>What to Expect<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chilawee Trails welcomes 56 campers. The campground has 4 barracks with space for two cabins per barrack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each cabin has 7 campers, one counselor and one CIT. Other staff departments include: kitchen, nurse, dance, sports, canoe, waterfront, groundskeeping, and crafts. These are volunteer positions (80 hrs) with an honorarium of $300 for heads of departments and $175 for experienced staff. Bed and board is provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Working at Chilawee has led to memories and friendships that last a lifetime.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>I honestly believe that the friends I have created here will be my friends for a lifetime.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LEAP Training Course<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LEAP is a yearly training course for Chilawee staff. The purpose of this course is to provide new Chilawee staff with a common base of knowledge, build team camaraderie, and ensure returning staff members receive appropriate refreshers and reminders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It usually runs in Toronto and Ottawa for staff from around these areas. It is required for any staff applicants.
